I am a video game artist, concept designer, and illustrator, currently based in Wellington, New Zealand. I have a passion for creating engaging worlds and stories, employing both 2D and 3D works in my art.
My years of study have taught me a wide array of disciplines; from hard skills to softer skills, such as how to work effectively as part of a larger team in a fast-moving industry pipeline. As an artist I integrate modelling and illustrative skills into my projects to create vibrant narratives, prioritizing implicit storytelling with high verisimilitude. I focus primarily on the 2D visual development of characters, environments, and stories but have experience with most aspects of video game art development. Working in a rapidly evolving, and diverse, industry has taught me to be flexible and adapt to the requirements of the project as needed. During my free time I focus on my traditional art, as both a creative outlet and a means of exercising my fundamentals. Feel free to contact me anytime. |
